Standard walkie stacker outrigger dimensions are designed for standard pallets. When operations regularly handle wider pallets, large containers, bulky equipment, or load footprints that exceed standard straddle spacing, the stability margin decreases — and at some point, standard equipment simply can't safely handle the load.
The Noveltek PPS-10W/15W/18W/20W Wide Straddle series addresses this directly. The extended outrigger spacing provides the base width needed to handle non-standard load footprints safely — and because wider is fully compatible with standard pallets, the wide straddle configuration doesn't limit the machine's utility on standard pallet loads.
Typical applications include: operations handling European-size pallets that are wider than standard North American dimensions, facilities with wide-base storage containers or industrial bins, manufacturing operations handling large component pallets, and any environment where load widths vary and a single stacker needs to handle the full range.
